Great game from Ursuline! No.26 was all over the field. He played great defense.
The Red hung with them for awhile but too many parts missing. Our backup linemen are going to have to grow up in a hurry. Do not know if enough kids can get healthy for the playoffs.
No receivers and one dimentional again. No touchdowns in 7 quarters. Can't remember last time that happened. Now it's a question if we can even finish in the top 4 in the region. But, on to the next game.

In what way? Bigger football? 12 men? No shoes? Talk about generalizing. Geesh.

Meaning Big Red has lost to both Ohio teams they have played this year (very good teams at that). It's better football, there is that better?

Both teams are on next year. Why would we drop them ? We didnt drop Inkster last year.

We Big Red fans love Ohio football too. Now you guys are implying all our out of state teams are a joke . Do we have to get back into this scheduling thing again ? Look at our recent state titles in 05-06 we played a ton of out os state teams then also . and then we swept through the playoffs . If your an Ursulin fan or a Massillon fan congrats you have the victory and you have bragging righs . If you are just a Big Red basher then please tell us whom your team is so we can compare programs ............. Yep thats what I thought.

So when Inkster beat us and St Ed's last yr that was not good football? The St Joseph team we played in 05' was the best team we faced all year, including the state game vs DeSales. Not good football? When PA kicks are ass in the Penn/Ohio game that's not good football. lol Let's see Orriville schedule any of our out of state teams and see how they do.....lol

Didn't here crap from all you guys last yr when we beat Woodland Hills, Massillon, Poland lol

Excuses ????? You have been whining and playing the injury card about Big Red for 2 weeks. You don't even go to the games anyway.

It's better; but not accurate. I guess not all the jelly in Orrville goes in jars.

QB, you're in way over your head with the boys from Death Valley. You're on your own over here. Good luck Big Red, you'll be fine. Still would love to come there and play you. Best High School stadium on the planet.

Before any of us could congragulate Ursulin we were ruthlessly attacked . I dont know if any of them were Ursulin fans maybe "Ohio" is . Anyway if we get beat we get beat it aint no fun but we will be back . I submit most of these attackers if not all probably never even played this great sport . so to you haters go back to playing that flute that you were obviously good at.

I would love to play Big Red, great opportunity, great atmosphere, great programs.

I wish Ohio teams would have the guts to schedule them, they are a great football program.

I'm sure alot of good Ohio teams would if Steubenville didn't require they play all of them at Death Valley. Big Red does a few home and home with some teams but they truly want 7-8 home games a year. That not something that other quality programs want to do.

That's exactly right, and I am sure they make tons of money doing it that way. Plus they have an awesome stadium, great homefield advantage, and they make the playoffs every year, so why change it. All the big programs like that 7-8 home games a year, it would be cool to have that.

I know I'm in over my head here 5knots but I'm in over my head on every thread I'm on, but I like being an instigator, and get people talking. Makes for fun reading, and posting.

I'm not saying that there is something wrong with Steubenville having the home games and give them credit for having the stadium that draws teams to want to play in it. I was trying to show why they play so many out of state teams.
Also I would like to point out that although Big Red has/will play 8 out of state teams, I would consider the 3 W.Va. teams as local. They are all in the same conference as Big Red.(OVAC)

After reading your posts for over the last week, you really come across as a sore loser. Move on and worry about the playoffs.

I know what you meant Darkon, Big Red is in a good location, they see more out of state football, and are closer to those schools and borders.

I guess i don't get the NY teams, why they have interest in playing Ohio teams idk, maybe it's just me. Why not play more PA/WV teams since you're right in that area and not NY/MICH/DC teams. The Mysteries in life...haha

I believe Steubenville shares some of the money. Someone in the know can give a better answer on the money thing.

Yeah, I'm sure they share a portion of the gate sales.

I know when Orrville played some of the inter city Cleveland schools, we chartered them down in buses, otherwise they wouldn't come play. Maybe Steuby provides the transportation.

I am not a sore loser . Sure it stinks we are proud if that means sore then yes I am I guess. I cant stand Mooney and I dont like Ursulin much either especially after I saw them on the Island last year against PCC .They just came across as really arrogant in theyre PG13 pregame warmups but you know what when we take a beating we move on Ursulin was better the other night . Youngstown and Steubenville are cousins we come from the same kind of backgrounds . It shows on the grid . We all represent the eastern side of Ohio with great football . Untill we meet again .
