Youngstown Ursuline (7-0)
at Steubenville (6-1)

-Ursuline is coming off a 49-20 blowout over Columbus St. Charles (5-2) at home.
-Steubenville is coming of a 28-7 loss at Massillon Washington (6-1).

This one is going to be one amazing game! Can't wait to head down to Steubenville next week to hopefully see my alma mater knock off the Big Red!

Hopefully we can rebound & actually get back to the basics of playing sound fundamental football. After last night's tail whooping & a great opponent coming to Steuby it will definitely be interesting to see how we play.

Ursuline is too fast for the big red. Should be over by time the 4th quarter starts

I will say this.. I hope Ursuline comes out and does not take anything for granted. Don't let this one remain close going into the 4th because we know the officiating will come into play sooner or later.. That is a given.

Irish offense, speed, and overall athleticism will give the Big Red fits. I don't care where this game is being played, the Irish want this one badly. They will not settle for anything short of 15-0 this year.

I hate to tell everyone who thinks there is home cooking going on at Harding stadium but 9 out of 10 times Big Red has more penalties then their opponent. That was a serious ignorant thing to say. Why would you say something like that without knowing the facts? It is a serious dissregard for respect of anything.Spreading something that isn't true shows a serious character flaw. You and all others who do this sort of thing don't belong on a football site like this.Go find a site that an immature rumor monger belongs on.Ignore lists for you and I hope others of the nation follow my lead.

Big Red's Shaq Petteway just announced he's going to WVU. I'm rather disappointed. I was hoping he would attend Michigan State so we would have someone in the Big 10. We already have someone at WVU.

At any rate, I am very happy for him and I wish him the best.

Go easy on the kid. As you can see, being from Youngstown he probably expects poor officiating.

Getting back to the game, if we do (B.R.) win, I would call it a minor miracle. Anyone who saw the Massillon game knows we went into that game with too many injuries and had to run the ball most of the night and I understand Ursuline has a good passing attack.
Ursuline may have caught us at the right time for them. Rest assured the Big Red kids put on the field will give 110 %. I really do feel that by season's end, we can garner enough points to stay in the top four in the region.
I just hope we can get these guys back for the playoffs.

All I said was Ursuline better not take the Big Red for granted because if it is a close game, we could see the officiating come into play. I've seen it at Massillon and would not be surprised to see it at Steubenville either.

The worst officiated game I have witnessed though is still the Ursuline-Mooney game last year..... But I am over that stupid call..

Right, because the Officiating in Y-town is awesome.

Massillon got killed by the refs, when we had to go to YSU and play Ursuline.

Its funny to hear people talk about "Watch the refs". Everytime a Massillon person says anything about refs, we get slammed!! I love the Dbl standard.
