Where the fuck was THAT offense all game. THAT offense...that just executed an amazing drive would have been nice to see this whole game. Instead, they decide to shit the bed until there's 6 minutes to go and they are down by 28.

Uh, come on, you know better than that. Its a bit eaisier to play offense with no pressure when your down almost 30pts AND the defense is playing prevent.

THAT Offense is because Stanford called off the dogs.

Notre Dame is just not a very good football team.

Obviously the officiating in no way cost us this game. That being said, that spot on the 3rd and 1 late in the 1st was horse shit. Calabrese filled in and stopped Mr. 2-way for no gain. Oh well. We still got our ass kicked.

Our defense could NOT get off the field on 3rd down. What hurts......our defense outplayed our offense today. Crist shit the bed. That 4th and 1 call early in the 4th after a TO was Weis-esque. AWFUL call. Handoff up the middle to Gray???? Really???

Wood is a pussy on kickoffs. Get his ass out of there.

Te'o played a whale of a game today. Blanton did a great job too. The rest of the defense.......eh. Walls missed a couple tackles. Brian Smith was mismatched in coverage a few times. We get ZERO pressure on the QB whether blitzing or a 3-man rush. Just disappointing.

Has there been a tougher time to be an ND fan? I ain't going anywhere. These are tough times though....for sure.

Defense played pretty well considering how horrible the offense was. Holding Stanford to 1 TD and 4 FG's until late is a pretty good job. The offense was absolutely horrendous. They had their shot to get the team back in the game numerous times and got nothing.

Agree 100% with everything you said.

It's tough for sure...but I'll still wear my ND shirts and hats, and put on my jersey every Saturday to watch the games. But I am thinking I need to get a new one...this one seems to be jinxed.

Defense overall was pretty good but 3rd down is money time and they couldn't get it done when it counted.

Agreed. Still they gave up one touchdown. Need to get some kind of help from the offense.
