I'll be enjoying my favorite night before Thanksgiving activity.

Getting sloshed while watching Trains Planes and Automobiles while a woman cooks in my kitchen

A group from work are going down to a local bar at midnight. My buddy I car pool with is going and I'm not. I told him I would work until 1:30 and drive down and pick his drunk ass up. I'm staying at work so I can suck up all the overtime I can. We have a couple of new women on our shift and a couple of the cheating bastard men (one is my buddy) that are going are really excited about getting them all liquored up.

LOL

I don't drink, but my Grandmother does. She's in town, and she's staying @ my place, so if she's down to go out, I'm down to DD.

haha, it's true in the sense that my Grandmother does drink, and I would obviously DD for her, but I doubt she'd be down to go out. We're sitting here in my living room, I'm on my laptop, she's listening to an audiobook, and I don't expect her to rip off her headphones and exclaim, "FUCK IT! LET'S GO BAR HOP ON CAMPUS, BRO!!!" anytime soon.

She is currently drinking a pretty legit glass of wine, though. I'll keep the situation monitored.

When I was in my 20's I would come back to Ohio for Thanksgiving and go out to the bars on Wednesday night, but it wasn't my high school friends I was hanging wth - I left them behind. It was my cousins and that would go out. Used to be a lot of fun. Now we're all old married people with kids, so no more bar scene for us.

I did the Turkey Trot in Warren this morning, and I'll guarantee you I couldn't have passed a breathalyzer test when it started at 9:00am.
