I voted for rock music but I really listen to all kinds...except for country. I've tried to give it a chance when friends say "listen to this one it's great!!" but just can not take it at all!!

Country. It seems to relate more closely to my life than any other genre.

She don't like to play my kinda music.
She's never heard a Waylon Jennings song.
She's never been a fan of Willie Nelson.
So there aint no way in hell we'll get along.
She don't like to play my kinda music.
She's never heard of David Allan Coe.
She can't get enough of Whitney Houston.
And I'm thinkin "Lord, that's all i need to know."

From my fbk profile: Introduced to new Christian artists constantly but a few standbys:
Bruce, Eagles, OAR, Pink Floyd, Caedmons Call, Derek Webb, Jars of Clay, Casting Crowns, Kutless and Michael Gungor.
So there ya have it.

I really don't have an absolute favorite. I love all kinds of music.
Except Jazz. I hate the jazz.
I can listen to zydeco, though.

Electric blues
Classic rock
Old time blues
Hard rock
R&B
Hip Hop
Jazz
Old country
I'm a huge blues fan, especially the blues of BB King, Albert King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lee Hooker, Howling Wolf, etc. It is just something about hearing a blues guitar solo with that bass line that I love.

SMOOTH JAZZ!
We lost a rising star in smooth jazz this past year in Wayman Tisdale, the former 3 time All-American and NBA All-Star.
