I've been following the rumors for a few weeks now regarding the new ipod touches.

Anyone else interested?

I'm looking for an 8gb touch with facetime (with ipod to PC webcam capability) and retina display.

3g data for $15-$20 a month would be hot.

$199 please, thanks.

(I sold my 3g touch after using it for a couple weeks awhile back...now that I have a newborn at home, I can already see how having it back would be very nice)

I am hoping they refresh the AppleTV with some of the specs I have seen floating around.

Any word on new MacBooks?? I'd like to grab one eventually, but I'm not feeling the latest "click everywhere" touchpad. My 13" white one from '06 is still a beast, but I may upgrade for DJing purposes.

I'm looking forward to it. I currently have a 30 gig Video Ipod that's a few years old. Its just about crapped out on me (it's been dropped, lost, found, and thrown across the room, etc.,) so I'm looking to purchase a new one.

Can someone explain to me why anyone would want an ITouch AND an IPhone? Isn't an ITouch basically an IPhone without "cell service"?

That's correct, not really sure why someone would want both, unless I'm missing something (never owned/used an iphone).

I have a cheap Verizon phone (Env2) with no data, and refuse to pay 30+ per month to Verizon for data on a Droid, plus insurance on the phone.....For me, an Ipod touch is an awesome thing because I get the games, browser, and music/video, and access to the web in wifi spots (which I'm always in unless I'm driving). 3g data for $15-$20 per month would make it super sweet.

Yeah, this would make no sense. The iphone does everything the ipod touch (no such thing as an itouch) does.

With my iphone 4, I'm not really interested in the touch but if they refresh the nano line I may look into a new one to keep in my car.

Itunes 10 is pretty much for sure.
Interesting to see what they can do to make it better.

I'm sure everyone saw all of the new offerings yesterday...

I'm in for a 32gb Touch, the thing is pretty beastly.

Anyone else going to partake in any of the new products?

What makes the Roku better? Both $99, both 720p, both with Fox and ABC on board.

Roku will soon be 1080p.

Roku also has MLB.tv, UFC, NBA GameTime, YouTube, Pandora.

Roku has an SDK for add ons and such.

Also the SD Roku is $49 the 720p is $69.99 and the 1080p one will be $99.

Roku only sells them on their site or through Amazon. There are a lot of videos of the interface and many reviews on the web. It's a favorite among a lot of the tech blogs apparently.

Also I forgot to note that they use Amazon Marketplace so while both them and Apple have ABC and Fox onboard for 99 cent episodes there is a difference. For Apple those are 99 cent rentals[/url] with Amazon that's a 99 cent purchase. As in, you own it. Better deal imo.

I've had a roku for almost a year, really like it and works great wired or wireless.

Has anyone heard anything about the ipad being updated to ios 4 anytime soon?

I like the new iPod line up, but there was nothing that really "wowed" me.
