North is getting there, these are the games they need to play to see where they stand. I think Mooney ends up winning but it should be closer than most think.

North is certainly improving under coach Phillips. I know there is a lot of talent on the roster, but they are going to be inexperienced at a lot of positions. They had a lot of good seniors on the '09 team. From a Picktown, Central Ohio, OCC, and Harbin point perspective, the folks on the Central side of town will be rooting for North in week 1.

I am looking forward to this game. It will be the first time I will have seen Mooney close up. I think Mooney wins by 2-3 TD's.
I'll be there to support the Panthers before heading to Indy on Saturday morning to cheer on the Tigers.

North has improved but they are nowhere near Mooneys level. They won't be able to stop the Mooney ground game and Mooney will only throw5 passes at most the entire game. Probably less, if any.

Does any one know if a local radio station will be streaming this? Don't feel like making the trip from Ytown.

Week 1 game + lots of new faces on the field + no more Ronny Stoops roaming the sidelines = A tough opening game for the Cardinals.
I think Mooney wins...but maybe by 10 pts. Wish I could make the trip up to see this one.

I heard Mooney put it on Glenville.
Sorry PN I don't see you on the big boy stage like your big sister just yet.
Good luck though I hope you can pull off a stunner for Cent Oh!

Sherm while I agree with you maybe no Stoops means the kids play a little looser. Ct from what I understand the Cards looked alot better against Glenville. I really think PN can win this game.

Good point genghis. I just hope that the defense is able to make solid halftime adjustments like they have been able to do the last few years.

Mooney is very young team. I wouldn't be surprised if this is very close maybe even a loss for the young Cards

The Cards have only four returning starters from last year's team. New guys at every skill position on both sides of the ball...and basically a whole new line on each side of the ball.
Let's hope these kids are ready to go because Mooney's schedule does not get any easier the rest of the way.
