Who do you like to listen to regarding sports radio. I am a big Tony Bruno, JT the Brick, and Ben Mallard fan. I prefer Fox Sports Radio if you can't tell.

I don't mind Mike and Mike, but they get on my nerves sometimes.

I have grown to actually enjoy Cowherd. Could not stand him at first, but started watching his radio show on ESPNU(not sure if it's on anymore) and now I tend to enjoy most of it.

Cowherd started to grow on me after sportsnation.

I like the majority of the guys on 97.1 as well too lately, even with my disdain for OSU. They do a good job to not be completely over the top.

I just can't stand the Torg, other than that I agree.

Really like Mark Packer. Primetime with the Packman is pretty big down south. As is Southernfriedfootball.com I suggest taking a look at the Babes section. Elon represents pretty well for any of you looking for a good school in the carolinas.

Cowherd has grown on me, too. Sometimes his delivery is a little over the top, but his points are usually spot on.

On the other end of the spectrum....I turn off 97.1 when Torgerson or Ricordatti are on....just like I did when Munch was on 610. Positively putrid.

Ricordatti and Spiels never should have been seperated imo. Munch was horrid now they have former NBC guy Dave Maetzold on their and he is only marginally better.

Probably Colin Cowherd.

Two guys who I used to listen to all the time from like 04-09 until I graduated and stopped being in my car driving were All Night with Jason Smith from 1am-5am and The V Show with Bob Valvano on the weekends from 1am to 5am. They are great personalities for that time of night. Really soothing sports talk with good opinions, but dont get you riled up to the point of danger since its so freaking late and you are driving lol.

Rome
Herd

Everyone else.

Hartman and Friends- these guys realize they are all over the country, right? All the talk about is the Lakers and Dodgers. One day they spent 30 minutes breaking down a L.A. Kings playoff game.
I like Petros and Money when they fill in for Rome every once in a while, but I need low doses of Petros. Segment here, segment there..couple times a month..otherwise he will drive me nuts.
SVP and Ryen- Not good radio.
Mike and Mike- Don't mind them either way.
I miss Dan Patrick on ESPN radio- so much better than any of his replacements.
I like Tony Bruno when I catch him, but I'm not usually listening to a radio when he's on.

Cowherd
Common Man and the Torg

I hate Bruce Hooley, I think he is absolutely unbearable to listen to, and that's unfortunate because I like Spielman.

It's Ben Maller, not Mallerd, he is not a duck. :) He is the best IMO.

It sucked when Fox had the massive layoffs about a year + or so ago and Ben was taken off overnight on week days. He just does weekends now so I don't get to hear him as often. Wonder what football team he will sell his fandom to this year. I hope it's not the Steelers they had enough bad luck and don't need the Curse of the Ben Beano.

I only get to hear Ben now on Sunday mornings when my girl wakes me up as she is getting ready for work at 5am, I will turn him on for the last hour of his show.
