JWow has the ultimate butter face and is as trashy as they come. You'd catch something from Snooki (either more or a magnitude worse than you'd get from the others)....and Angelina is just flat nasty - not cute, not a great body and more annoying than any of the other girls (which is QUITE the statement).

Websurfinbird and I were talking, and she thought "Jersey Shore: Season 3" should take place somewhere in Italy. It would be funny to see these self-proclaimed "guidos" roll with the real-deal Italians in their homeland.

supposedly they filmed a 2nd half of Season 2 that will be released as a season 3, and they're trying to get Mike and Snooks on for a season 4 but it may not happen since people keep demanding more money

How long can this show really be on? I think part of the reason that Real World has been successful is because there are always new people and new drama. After a few seasons of the same people and same fights I think it would get boring. I've only seen a few episodes (and I obviously don't think it's great enough to watch every week as it is) but 4+ seasons would get old.

I admit I watched it for the first time ever last night. I thught the show was funny because the kids are so full of themselves. I am sure some of the situations were embellished, but some were not. That to me is funny.

I will try to remember to watch it next week, just to see the girls fight like they showed in the previews last night.

Snooki has apparently just been arrested at the Shore according to TMZ. Looks like some kind of public intoxication offense, although they aren't sure because it was Coca Cola she was pouring in her bong.

Looking at those pictures gives you an idea of just how rigged/scripted this show is. It could have been just coke (probably not diet coke, though, LOL) or rum & coke (do you mix SoCo with coke?).

But she's sitting on a bench, with a couple cameras around....and I don't see any of the rest of the gang. Look like some just normal, random people around her. So this looks completely staged (will probably mix it in with some other footage to make it look like she's out of control partying).

I wondered the same thing when Ronnie got arrested. How did cops just come out of nowhere to arrest him without witnessing the fight? Might MTV throw a few bucks to the local force to stage an arrest? They don't even have to do that - they can have paid actors do this.

Disorderly Conduct was the official charge. No word on what exactly the conduct was that she was arrested for.

I read today that Snooki and JWow are working on clothing lines. Snooki also has a line of hair products and a book coming out and, LOL, is talking about being careful not to overexpose herself! God bless them for trying to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame, but you know this all ends horribly for at least a few of them when they go back to just being losers.

Actually, a few of the guys seem like they might leverage this. The Situation supposedly has a work out tape coming out (dude is ripped). DJ whatever is actually a DJ and apparently nominated for some America's top DJ award. The other guy is supposed to be an actual rapper, and I guess he might fail miserably. No word on any projects Ronnie might be working on.

Jersey Shore scored 5.3 million viewers for its season two premiere last night, making it almost a 300 percent increase from last season!

Wowsa!

It marked the biggest season premiere rating for MTV in seven years, since the season two premiere of The Osbournes back in 2002!
That was from Perez Hilton. The finale last year (and highest rated episode) scored 4.8 million viewers, so clearly the show has legs. Ratings for summer time T.V have been awful also, so this number is even better. People love them some Jersey Shore it seems.

There's always been a market for reality show trainwrecks, and that show has a bunch of trainwrecks. No surprise there, but they'll all negotiate themselves right out of a job. As mentioned, people lose interest quick. MTV will have no problem find a group of equally pathetic losers to replace them all.
