Isn't that what LJ said?

Market makers keep financial markets efficient by quoting both buy and sell prices. They compete for these orders. They tend to deliver their own shares or equity to buyers then sometimes look for a "replacement type order" for their own inventory. It can lend to a more speedy market.

Define who market makers are in real estate.

I personally can't.

How come you never answer my questions but expect me to not only answer yours but also "respond" to any comments you might make?

I'll answer any question you ask that doesn't pertain to my reason for having this discussion, my motives, what I'm hoping for, etc. You're not the OC shrink...or are you?

Maybe you should weigh in with some real estate thoughts of your own. You are a licensed realtor, right?

I gave my thoughts on the original thread and admitted that I don't practice and it's not a real difficult test to pass, so I would hardly consider myself an expert. You asked me what I thought market value was, I gave you what I was taught and what was my understanding for the test and you said I was wrong.

My point was that any original thought or idea, right or wrong, would be better than "oh your real mature" just because I used a swear word. I also don't think I ever said outright that you were wrong either.

Who gives a fuck who makes the market. Houses sell for what a qualified buyer is willing to pay for them. Outside of that this whole argument is hyperbole

in those specific markets. Then you have custom home developers like R&H, Silvestri, etc for different markets

I disagree. They don't act as market makers in the traditional sense; not as I understand how market makers in securities work anyway. It's totally different. They may set their own prices, but those prices don't drive the existing home market prices.

More importantly, M/I,Dominion, Rockford and the like ruin almost every market they development in. Developers like those played a big part in the housing crash. Many custom builders who offer their own financing were and are still part of it too. I figured you knew about that.

Alrighty-o, then! While I'd hate to interrupt this riveting discussion of whatever the fuck insomnia cure you people are talking about, this thread is about Free Huddle. And since Free Huddle (the name) no longer exists as far as this site is concerned, it now shall be about Free Hat.

This is the movement that took place during a South Park episode to free baby-killer Hat McCullough...a movement that succeeded despite Hat being insane and likely killing a baby (off-screen) after being freed.

So, discuss: Was freeing Hat a good or bad decision?

...not the OC shrink. Why would you ask that when it doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand and you just stated that you wouldn't answer any question that weren't directly related to them? That's a bit hypocritical don't you think?

Here's why I have asked certain question that may not be directly topic related.

I've only asked why to better understand how I might further add to this topic. I've given my opinion and yet you have called me names, been sarcastic and upset that I hadn't responded to your comments. If I better understood what it was you wanted I might better be able to go on with this obsession of a topic....then again maybe I wouldn't.

I didn't see this specific episode, but I am opposed to freeing insane baby killers.

Well, when you phrase things that way, ANYTHING seems bad.
