I thought you had it solid at Phoenix in Sept? Oct 23rd is dicey weather wise and depending on cost alot of guys won't want to commit early, myself included. Plus now it sounds like Zwick is dodging me anyways.

Only thing I'm dodging is the clap in Romania.

See my post before, historically the weather is just fine on Oct. 23rd. Low precipitation and high temps in the mid 60s.

Prices have been finalized.

If you register between now and July 27th the cost is only $85. This includes 18 holes, cart, chances at prizes and an after-round buffet of hotdogs, hamburgers and brauts.

The Golf Outing link is now available in the nav bar above. That site allows you to register by paypal/credit card. I'll have a form for people that want to pay with a check soon.

Was really looking forward to playing, but Oct. 23rd is a 95% no go for me. Justin, maybe you should put up a link to donate directly to the Progeria Foundation, just an idea. If I can't play, I will still donate the $85.

You can donate directly to the PRF through their website. You could also become a sponsor of the outing.

Anyway you can get a facebook integration on the golf outing site so I can post it there. If not I'll probably just link it anyway.

Also, if I can do it it will be very late likely. Me paying for the Fall Semester trumps and golf fun/charitable goodwill at this point.

How long has everyone lived in Ohio? October 23rd will be fine for golf. You may need Under Armour under your polo if it's a little brisk early, but I bet you will peel that off by your 7th hole. I had a buddy get married around the same time one year and we were sweating our asses off in our tuxes...it almost hit 70. It usually doesn't rain and it could be overcast and chilly, but you will be drinking and golfing so who gives a shit. I wish I could play.

I just submitted the event for approval on the Newark Advocate website. I am going to submit it on as many Ohio newspaper websites as I can.

I don't want to put people through the torture of having to golf with me.

That's the beauty of a scramble, you can hit your ball 200yds into the woods, and it really doesn't matter much.

Good deal, I'm still gonna try to get a group together, if not, I may just register as a single. Also, are there any decent/reasonably priced hotels in the area?? I may wanna come up the day before and sneak in a round.

Is there a price for non-golfers to eat and drink (AKA me)? Might want to add that to the site and/or flyer.

It's $20 for non-golfers to partake in the buffet.
