Lebron is settling into his role as Scottie Pippen quite nicely it would appear. I can only wonder how long he can be content to play second banana to D-Wade?

Didn't Wade volunteer to come off the bench for the Olympic team? Why does everyone assume that there is going to be some ego conflict between those two? Wade doesn't seem like the type of person who needs to be the #1 guy (how did he get his championship already).

What's more is that LeBron already essentially took a paycut. He's sacrificing to get what he really wants - multiple titles. If he's willing to take less money after claiming he wants to be the first billion dollar athlete, why would sharing the spotlight be so difficult for him? Hell, a big knock on James up to this point was his unwillingness to take the big shot when the Cavs needed it. Now he's got the guy who can do that for him, so he can put up his huge meaningless numbers, let someone else make the clutch play, collect some rings, and enter the elite discussions.

I really think some of you guys are missing his angle. It is wishful thinking that something won't be right in his psyche. Deep down, you know this is exactly what LeBron needed.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Lebron will have to win 6 Titles before he can be called Scottie Pippen. Right now he is no different than Charles Barkley other than Delonte wasn;t banging Charles's Mom and if he were Charles would have done something about.

You compare them to a 7 time All Star (one AS MVP) and 8 time All Defensive 1st Team who won 6 rings, had his number retired, and was on the Top 50 players of All Time list? What if you compared him to Chris Webber? High school player of the year, #1 overall pick, Rookie of the Year, couldn't get it done in his first city so he joined up with some friends somewhere else. Still couldn't win. Retired a respectable journeyman.
