He's having a great bounce back year....at least a few things have gone right. Congrats to him...although I thought Choo and Talbot were more deserving.

Yeah I would have figured Choo would have gotten the nod. Maybe his injury made them reconsider?

Yes, Choo was rumored to be the pick but he just went on the 15 day dl. Happy for Fausto though, he along with Masterson and Talbot will give us a solid 1-3 to build on.

I was listening to the post game on KNR and they were saying that there is a 0% chance that Fausto gets traded. Westbrook and Wood on the other hand........

Fausto won't be traded.

Shapiro is trying to sell this team as "contenders" for the Central next season, trading him would throw that away.

He's under contract until 2014, so we should be good with him.

Then again....

Fausto probably got the nod because of Choo's injury. Talbot's the only other guy really worth considering, but the two are very comparable and Fausto's a good story considering the whole "get dumped to LOW minors and told to work your way back up" deal.
