Thought it was pretty clear it was a joke, not surprised by who couldn't figure it out.

Thought it was, but I've heard some dumber things stated on here.

Plus, why go play with Lebron in Cleveland when he can play with Rose in Chicago or Wade in Miami?
Broussard said this. Toronto doesn't really want to deal with Miami because they feel that Riley tampered with Bosh (through Wade) and the package Chicago would offer wouldn't be as good as Cleveland's. I think Houston could probably offer a better deal of all four.

It's one thing to say "screw Bosh" because he doesn't want to play in Cleveland, it's another thing to suddenly act like he is an average basketball player and you are happy you aren't getting him

As I said on previous pages, it may be a pipe dream but I'd prefer them try to swing a deal for CP3. I don't know that Bosh would fit what Byron Scott is looking to do defensively. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be crushed if the Cavs ended up with Bosh but he's not my first choice.

The only way CP3 or Bosh is coming to Cleveland is if they demand trades there. I have heard that Toronto like what Cleveland can offer, but Bosh has no interest.....so I just cannot see it happening.

Bosh has been in their sights for a long time, which to me has always been a little confusing given the defensive focus and lack of any tangible offense under Potato Head. I think Bosh can improve defensively but I have always wondered why he has been so high on the list. I'm not saying fuck 'em by any means, I'd be much more pleased by getting a legit point first. I guess I feel pretty much the same as you BR, but CP3 might be a little out of range.

Because Rose and Wade arent as good as Lebron???? People get 2 caught up in the whole "nobody wants to play in cleveland" They dont even play half of their games in the state of Ohio(and when they do, the Q is one of the best atmospheres in the league) and im sure dude has a house in Florida or somewhere else nice so he doesnt even have to be here for the offseason.

Like I said, CP3 is a pipe dream, for now. I don't think he'd have as much of a problem coming to Cleveland as Bosh seems to.

Either way, Bosh will go to a team (minus houston), where it won't be considered his team. Even at Houston he might have to compete with Yao's team.

You never know with some Cleveland Cavalier fans.

Guess I didn't figure that you were joking. It wasn't really all the funny, wasn't something somebody would typically "joke" about, and wasn't really all that far off from some of your earlier posts on this site.

Money talks.

Windy and W&G have now both stated that Toronto likes Cleveland trade first and foremost. The Bulls and Miami are the teams that don't have the real pieces to make a viable trade happen, Toronto does not want Deng's contract and Miami has 3 guys on their roster right now.

The question is, when LeBron signs with Cleveland will Bosh walk away from the true max deal and $30 million?

Money talks when its placed in front of you and right now it isn't with Bosh. But when LeBron re-signs with Cleveland, the Cavs/Raptors will lay that max deal in front of Bosh. Then we'll see if he can walk away from 30 million. Brand or no brand, its easy to talk when the situation isn't fully real at the moment.

Do the Cavs really want to part ways with both Hickson and Andy for Chris Bosh? Gilbert needs to get a grip here. This trade makes no sense to me.

I'm not a Hickson fan per se but I still don't get all of the frothing at the mouth over Bosh.

Yes, the Cavs should part ways with JJ/AV if you are getting a 20-10 all star PF in his prime. Consider the Cavs would get him locked into a 6 yr deal. Pairing two guys in their prime for multiple years is a move that needs to be made. I don't want to hope a guy like JJ, who has potential, pans out to be an all star.

AV is the tough one to part with but JJ has potential. I am willing to trade a defensive player and a kid with potential for a proven 20-10 guy. Especially if Cleveland can work around some contracts, if Toronto is willing, to take back Hedo.

I still think there's a 90% chance he re-signs but this concerns me a bit. Is he using this time to mull over the other possibilities or to recruit players to come to Cleveland. Definitely hoping it's the latter.

You would think if it was a slam dunk toward Cleveland, he would just say it.

By waiting until after this camp, you wonder if he's worried about having to deal with the backlash from the camp participants and anyone else around this week if he would announce he's going elsewhere before the camp ended.

Hopefully it is something along the lines of trying to line up a situation to his liking in Cleveland, as you mentioned.

I'd say the guy has a life and its the holiday weekend. I am sure he would like some time to be with his family since he has been doing business constantly over the past 3-4 days. Even if he is mulling his options, Cleveland will still always win imo.

I wouldn't say he is recruiting guys either, once he re-signs with Cleveland the dominos will fall. Contrary to what people say, I believe personally that the other guys will wait until LeBron makes his decision. We've seen Dirk and JJ sign deals to their current teams, nothing shocking at all. Once Cleveland re-sings LeBron, they will be on the phone and receiving calls from guys.

People will twist it to say he won't make a decision to upset people at the camp, but its just another wild speculation that has plagued the entire process since last year.
