Cavs have supposedly also reached out to Byron Scott & Jeff Van Gundy, if it hasn't been mentioned yet.

If he does accept the job, I expect Eric Snow to be one of his assistants.

Eric Snow would be a great assistant. I would love to see that happen.

For a guy that returns nearly his entire team in Michigan St., this is a ballzy move. He is looking as a preseason favorite to win a Natl title. You tellin me he has NOT spoken to Lebron???? I say he had to of.

Over on the RCF, they are saying that Izzo has been "polling" a lot of different people about how it would be to coach Lebron.

Why do you turn down Chicago and accept Cleveland? I wonder if it's soley money? Chicago is paying their guy $3.5 a year I think, and Cleveland is offering $6 million?

I just don't see why he takes it unless he knows Lebron will be around. And I don't see how Izzo makes Lebron want to remain in Cleveland.

Maybe because Gilbert has ties to MSU?....other than that, I have no idea.

That's why I said he must know something about Lebron that no one else does. If Lebron leaves, he's stuck with a bad team.

Lebron has to be involved in this, despite what Gilbert says. Why the hell would Izzo leave MSU for a Cleveland team that doesn't have Lebron, that's an idiotic move. Not sure why Lebron would want to play for Izzo, but if it keeps him in Cleveland....

1) $$$

2) LeBron

3) Owner who is an MSU alum

4) EVEN IF LeBron leaves, the Cavs may be a bad team for a season, but it's been said that people look at the Cleveland job as a GREAT one because of the front office in place and the business side in which the Cavs operate.

Gilbert is committed to Cleveland, he's said as much and said jsut a couple of days ago that his #1 goal is to bring a title in Cleveland.
