Now there are reports that there is a players only meeting at 6:45 and no press conference has been anounced. Seems weird to have a players meeting along with a press conference to announce that you're turning down a job.

He has another year left, he may walk away voluntarily though because he has talked about wanting to watch his son as a senior next year along with his daughter who is a college senior if I am not mistaken.

He will either be coaching the Celtics next year or no one.

I swore I saw a post on here(I could be wrong)that said this was a done deal.

I was hoping he would come being the history of college coaches making the move to the NBA isn't very good.

It does says a lot when about Cleveland when a coach turns down that kind of coin.

He obviously made no headway getting any info on Lebron, and considering the team/city will be a wasteland if leaves Izzo made the correct decision not to come unless he knew his intentions for sure.

It doesn't say shit about Cleveland. It does say a lot about Tom Izzo, namely that the man has a good deal of integrity. Of course you would not know too much about that and would certainly overlook it in favor of a minor league shot at Cleveland.
