Extra $10 charge...... I think you'll start to see this more.....hoops23;374929 wrote:I was going to get it, but the extra $15 a month charge killed it for me. Love the phone though.

Should be by the end of the summer...but HTC will go back to second place soon.

All I know is my friend is a phone tech at Sprint and when they were trained for the HTC EVO he was told there would be an extra $15 fee, $10 for data and $5 for Video chat. They were trained last week, so maybe HTC issued the statement due to this misinformation.

the $5 was never going to be a requirement.

Clock speeds don't always tell the story with CPU performance. Also, I hope paying extra for 4g service when you can't get 4g service isn't so 2010. I rather run on the "old and slow" 3g network and not get bent over.Mooney44Cards;375024 wrote:Ummmm, saw that the Motorola Shadow only has a 720 mHz processor and a 4.1 screen. Did they do the same when they upgraded from 2G to 3G?Mooney44Cards;375584 wrote:Deploying a nationwide network with new technology costs money. Sprint doesn't exactly have a lot of money laying around. Would you like them to hike up EVERYONE'S rates, or just those with a 4G device? It's amazing how people want, nay, DEMAND new features and new technologies, yet expect their provider to give it to them free of charge.
