Seriously, the Cavs are WAY over the cap, they can't just sign free agents, do you not understand what a salary cap is? We only got Parker and Moon because we are allowed a MLE, and BLE, and we can sign veterans for the minimum, but we weren't going to get any marquee player and we didn't. Jamison is pretty damn good, he just wasn't the right piece, but you are oh so smart because hindsight is 20/20.

Comparing the numbers, Frye and Shaq aren't that far apart. I know, completely different styles and all and of course, no way Frye is the solution we need, but I would love to see a guy like Frye come to Cleveland. If they wanted a stretch big man, there he is. He's almost like a younger Z. Basically a spot up shooter, but with greater range. Also, he's cheap and only been in the league for a few years. I would definitely be in favor of bringing him to Cleveland.

Frye visited Cleveland last year, and I'm not really sure how it played out.

The Cavs are over the salary cap because of the bad moves they made. They brought in Ben Wallace a couple years back who was WAY overpaid and people thought it was a good move. Channing Frye isn't coming to Cleveland. He was CLOSE to signing with the Cavs, but he opted to go HOME and play for Phoenix. I expect him to stay there as well.

Yeah I don't see Cleveland. He's looking to get paid after a DECENT year in an offense that's made people look better. Somebody will overpay and we'll be here next year saying "Frye who".

Cleveland needs:

1) LeBron
2) an established coach who LeBron will listen to
3) a knockdown 3 point shooter (like Ray Allen)
4) a lock down defender off the bench (or in the starting line up if he's good enough)
5) a legit big man or PG

Coaching; not just Brown either. Look at the Asst coaching staff they've surrounded LeBron with. Chris Jent is no Jim Cleamons. Mike Malone is no Brian Shaw. And Egan is Spurs baggage.

Brown is horrible at in game strategies. Many times even the announcers point out things that pass him. case in point. Cav's pulled with in 4 pts of the Celtics and he had no set play other then to give it to LeBron. Which LeBron turned it over. Should have called a TO and set a play up with Ilgauskas at the top of the key. They didn't even try to use this play that was a go to play all of his career.

I say fire Brown and hire Bill Laimbeer. Which is funny cause they drafted him, then traded him to the pistons. He has a mind set of D first and can install a blue collar work ethic to this team and cut out all the clowning during practices and before games. And they will listen to him; and will understand about putting a player during the playoffs on their butt.

It's all fun and games at practice and before games. They have no work ethic. By that I mean look at the top players in the history of the game . They improve there games through the yrs. LeBron needs to learn how to go to the high post and low post as times. E.G Jordan in later yrs of his career. At no time during the 6th game did LeBron make the officials make a tough call. If YOUR THE MAN, THEN ACT LIKE IT!

He needs coaches that can challenge him and make him better. That's where college would have come into play here and given him that discipline. He's still playing as he did in high school. What point of his game has improved. He's 6'8 250 and can't play in the high/low post. I'd also hire Karl Malone to coach the Forwards/Power Forwards. Malone was 6'9 256 and knew how to play all positions in the front court.

Ball movement- and moving without the ball sucks on this team. Their mid-court play is lackadaisical at times It's as if their mind gos blank. During the Boston series they held the ball way too long. Leaving the older Boston defenders to just stand in place. They don't seem to understand just how to use Hickson and Varejao with in the flow of the game. Notice that Mark Jackson made the statement about Varejao that"Varejao would have to ask me to take him out of the game" then a minute later right on cue Brown pulls him lol.

They show no offensive flow during games. They wait way to long to get into their offensive sets and if they get knocked off their initial sets they don't look toward options 2 or 3 it just evolves into... You shot, no you shot, well the shot clocks down to 6 sec let me shoot. They need a 3 point assassin as well, one that you can't leave alone at any time. Look at just how many times Boston cheated to LeBron's side or center half. (Influencing) so to speak." I DON'T THINK THIS WAS TALKED ABOUT MUCH by the talking heads". I agree with this, but this is a completely different era now. All these players are all buddies now. Back then, there was a general hatred and not so much "buddy, buddy" activity. Hell, now these guys go out to dinner with each other immediately after the game...smh

The Cavs threw the ball into the post and it was like a turnover. Their offensive flow was stopped. He would miss..and off to the races Boston went.

Moreover, when Rondo penetrated, Shaq was wayyy too slow to react.

The Cavs ARE a team "BUILT FOR THE REGULAR SEASON."

Here is why...

The Cavs have a TON of depth on their team. There are a lot of guys that Mike Brown can put in and play some productive minutes, especially at the PF or C positions. In the regular season teams play 4 games a week and sometimes play back to back games where they fly across the country. Other teams with less depth and are injury plagued are at a disadvantage during the regular season. If the Cavs are banged up, they can just plug in other guys because LeBron is going to carry the team regardless.

HOWEVER...

When you get to the post-season, it's all about starting lineups and particular matchups. The Cavs didn't match-up well against the Celtics. The Celtics don't have nearly as much depth as the Cavs, but they have a much better starting line-up and are HEALTHY!!!


Lebron is getting no help...

Shaq had his worst statistical year as far as FG%. Mo is a streaky player and can't play D. Jamison is an undersized PF and wasn't used right in the Playoffs. The team also couldn't hit any open 3's when LeBron drove to the paint and dished it out.

We should not be suprised the Cavs lost...

Boston won the championship 2 years ago. They took Orlando to 7 games last year WITHOUT Kevin Garnett. Their Big 4 is HEALTHY now. The Celtics are a much better team with more stars. They just cruised in the regular season because they had to take care of injuries to prepare for the POSTSEASON!!!

The CAVS are way too predictable...

You only have to shut down one guy on their team to beat them. As for the Celtics, you can't concentrate on one person. They have 4 legitimate scorers. The Cavs NEED scorers.
