Gilbert can fight, He would DESTROY Bloomberg :)

I love Gilbert though. Best owner in Cleveland sports history.

He knows what he's doing and Mike Brown will be fired after the 7-10 day evaluation period that Mike Brown and the rest of the personnel staff has.

No, the best way to expose a troll to everyone and make sure that he's constantly ignored in the future is to call him out in the present.

I agree that it wouldn't be a bad business move if it would make LeBron stay (although $20 mil is way too high), but he could definitely afford it.

It would suck, but he would still have probably 400-500 million dollars worth of assets to fall back on.

wes...Gilbert's a prick who's scared to death he's going to lose his gravy train. He is obvisouly willing to make terrible business decisions to try and keep him,and it's not going to matter

of course he is afraid he is going to lose the gravy train. Lebron is worth a lot more $$$$ than overpaying for a coach...if that is what Lebron wants. It is just a matter of dollar and cents....that is what sq is trying to say. The NBA is a business afterall.

But he didn't come up with those assets with bad decisions. He knows he has to keep LeBron there, I think he'll do just about anything financially to make sure it happens. Because it won't cost him as much as it will to lose him. So yeah, he would have some nice things to fall back on but he knows that--he is going to do what he has to to make sure that doesn't happen. As nice as it would be to be able to say that, when you're in that position that is the worst case scenario.

Back in the 90's,Cleveland fans said the Indians fans said that they were better than the Big Red Machine

Last two years,you all have said how great the Cavs are the best team in thw NBA(which they weren't) and how they would cakewalk to the title(which they didn't)
