They just turned it on at the right time.....Serie A is maybe the 3rd/4th best league right now. If Bayern loses, you are saying they are the 2nd best in the world?

Yeah the Italian Serie A has really had a drop off in talent recently.

EPL and La Liga have the most talent. La Liga has exploded the last few years.

Bundesliga has greatly improved the quality of players throughout the league as well.

LOL, yeah Serie A is down alright. Inter is a win away from the CL title, beating some very good clubs on the way but surely playing in Serie A couldn't possibly help them prepare for that.

Inter is LOADED. Im saying on a whole the league is down on overall talent. You can disagree with me if you want, but I think they have the 3rd or 4th most talent in the league. Germany and Italy are about equal to me.

I mean, Bayern is a win away from the CL and NO ONE is gonna claim the Bundesliga as the top league. The argument could be made that the busy schedules the EPL teams play with the CL games mid-week that it hurts them. They have more big games than Inter or Bayern who can focus more on the CL.

I wouldnt make that claim for Inter, but maybe Bayern.

Chelsea plays English style soccer and are the best at it in the world. (This means hard tackles, lots of crosses, speed and strength are most important.

Inter plays like Itatly. They have the best disciplined D. Their field position is never in question and they have a few players who can put the ball in the back of the net from anywhere past midfield. They are the best team who plays this style.

Barcelona is just GO GO GO on offensive. Their D at times is out of position or caught on a counter attack but their offense is second to none.

All three could be the best in the world but their styles make it hard to compare.

Inter dumped Chelsea and Barcelona over the course of 2-gamed series. They beat both handily.

I don't really think it's much of a question who the best team is.

And for the record, Villa is coming for people's chains next year!!! Robbie Keane and Stephen Ireland!!!

And Man United doesn't? United have always played that style, especially under SAF. Let's not forget, Chelsea won the Premiership by a point, they slugged it out with United all season long, both teams pushed and stumbled at certain parts of the season.

Yeah if you look at standings and what not they seem close, but as far as playing level and talent on both starting rosters and early bench, Chelsea is far greater than Man U.

Sounds like a statement from someone who obviously didn't watch that many EPL games this year. Do you just catch the highlight shows on FSN?

I figured. If you would have payed attention to both teams throughout the entire season, along with both of their head to head matches you would probably retract that "far greater" comment.

I just wish Arsenal would break through and challenge United or Chelsea for the league title. The past few years they hang around throughout the season but never get it done when it really matters. I'm tired of watching them lose points to the bottom feeders of the league!

Arsenal fans, it looks like (much to my EXTREME disappointment) that Yaya Youre (imo, the best defensive midfielder in the world...along with Essien) is headed to Arsenal. ManU are another possible destination, but Arsenal are the likely landing spot for Yaya.

I didn't watch one game, I based my assumption off Chelsea's final game against wigan.
