Id also give credit to some teams like Real with Ronaldo/Higuain, Atletico with Forlan/Aguero, Valencia with Villa/Silva, those are the Spanish teams I think of off the top of my slightly intoxicated head.

If you watch and understand the game of soccer, you know regardless of champions league success, that Chelsea is by far the best in the world, and if not that then at least top 2 in the world. depends on your definition of striker. IF you consider Messi a striker than Iniesta is as well. Barca play with 3 forwards, and both of them are included in the preferred 11. I will give you that neither is a TRUE #9, but Messi is deadly up top as well as the wing. But if you are just counting forwards, than Messi and Iniesta both qualify as both play the forward/wing position for Barca.

Chelsea is by far the best in the world imo. I was saying that if rock didn't agree with that, that he should at least admit they are top 2. This is true. As far as strikers go (eliminating the winger position) Messi and Iniesta dont qualify. I will say I think Milito and Eto'o make a good case from Inter. People knock Madid for losing, but they are going to be the team to beat next year if Barca dont sign Villa/Ribery/Fabregas. They have really come alive this year and suffered and unfortunate lose to Lyon in the CL when they were playing their worst soccer of the year. I hesitate to give B. Munich their due justice because I dont think Germany is all that tough. ManU could also be up there as well, but for obvious reasons not ahead of Chelsea.
