Believe me, the Steelers will be just fine.
If you think by Cleveland fans posting on a Steeler thread that we are worried, then what the hell should we think about you?

You spend more than half your time on Cleveland related threads.

Beat me to it. As much as he posts on Browns threads you'd think he's Holmgren's mistress.

Other rumors circulating on the Internet, according to Fedko, is that the St. Louis Rams offered the Steelers this year's first overall draft pick and a No. 1 pick next year for Roethlisberger.
I'm curious if this is true. Not that I think the Steelers would do this.....but that is giving up a lot for one player. IMO, a team would only give up the 1st overall pick and a 1st rounder next year for a player with these off the field issues if they felt that he was an elite player on the field.

You don't want to open that can of worms.

Then what would that make Strapping Young Lad? The Rooney's bitch? He lives on Steeler threads. Hell, Penguins threads too.

I feel for you guys for what Capone puts you through but don't think for a second that many of us Steeler fans don't go through the same shit. SYL is just as bad.....and he's not the only one......

Jim Brown has a rap sheet a country mile long though. I don't think even the most hardcore Browns fan can deny that. We laugh at these current NFL players who get in trouble a few times. Jim Brown was accused of rape, domestic violence, assault, etc. about a dozen or so times.

Since you Pittsburgh and Cleveland kiddies like to jab back and forth about player troubles. How about we switch to a more relavant topic...

Like what happens on the field. Congrats Cleveland this past season....your first W over Pittsburgh after 10 straight Ls! Personally, I hope this rivalry is renewed! Maybe with Holmgren at the helm Cleveland will become more competitive.

No doubt Brown was a piece of shit. I've said before that he had the strongest pimp hand in the NFL. Doesn't change the fact that Harrison is a turd as well.

I don't think you will find a Browns fan that doesn't think that Jim Brown is a piece of shit person. Great player, but a waste of space otherwise. Same could be said for Ray Lewis.

I'm really surprised that a month ago Steeler fans were all "this is much ado about nothing", now it looks like a suspension of some kind is coming from the league/Rooneys and a good portion of you are throwing Ben under the bus. I would be pissed he did what he did (bringing the team under poor light) but I would hardly throw the baby out with the bath water. He surely will have gotten the message by now. Huge mistake to ditch his ass now imo.

Considering Brown is almost 75 years old I don't think that would be a stretch.

Brown was a POS back in the day. But for the last 25 years, he's done a lot of good things, IMO.

I think ti was a carefully planned image transformation. You get Roethlisberger, on the day of the DA's press conference, looking like what everyone thinks he is....Then you get a "new" Roethlisberger, clean cut and in a suit meeting with Goodell, moving on a changed man and putting this all behind him.

I don't think it was an accident. Letting Ben give his statement like that is a collosal screw up to overlook. I think if it had been up to Ben he would have at least opted for the suit.

Dude is a helluva player. I want him QBing my team. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't extremely disappointed with all of this shit that he has put himself in position to get into. Make no mistake though.....I want him to learn from these mistakes and to be the QB of my team. If calling someone a dumbass for putting themselves in a bad position multiple times is throwing them under the bus.....then so be it. But I don't think we're all throwing him under the bus. Be accountable. Be smart. Be careful. Be a decent human being. I don't think that's asking a whole lot.

I was careful not to include "all" you Stiller fans. Just seems ironic the near 180 done by a lot on here that now, all the sudden, when the writing is on the wall, maybe "we can live without Ben" seems to be the flavor of the day. I just don't see getting a lot of value for him currently with the issue so fresh in everyones mind.

I agree, that he simply needs to forget the skanky ass tail and re-focus on being a professional. He can't be so dense as to not realize the gravity of the situation he's put himself in again...can he?
