I disagree with a lot of people who say as soon as he throws that first TD or the Steelers start to win games, people will forget about all this.
I don't think it's accurate to lump all the fans together like that. There are a lot of serious Steelers fans and people who were big fans of Roethlisberger that are extremely disappointed in how he's acted with the media and at some of the other events, to go along with all of these situations he's put himself in.
He's tarnished his reputation to the point that even if he throws another clutch TD pass to win a big game it would be hard to be excited for that moment when he's acting like the big hero and celebrating.
The Rooneys know this but I think they're going to give him one more chance to clean in up.
