I think Tebow would be good for the Steelers. He might not make it with certain teams but in the right place I think he has a chance to be pretty good.

He made remarkable strides from the Senior Bowl to his Pro Day since tweaking his mechanics and experimenting with the higher release point. I think his athletic ability and survival instincts are on par with Ben when he came into the league. He'll be able to make plays and win games -- with a good team around him -- until the passing improves.

I don't see what the big joke is.

The fact that you are saying to trade a proven winner franchise quaterback in order to draft someone who hasn't even shown that he can work out from under center. That is the joke. I would say that would be one of the dumbest moves in football history.

You wouldn't be specifically doing that.

You have a QB with serious issues that is tarnishing the reputation of your franchise. At some point I don't think it's even worth winning again with this guy leading the team. At the rate he's going he could end up in prison in another year or two.

I've been a big fan and I know it would be hard to accept, given the success and two Super Bowls, but I think the ship has sunk.

You're not going to trade him for one player but if you can get a package of picks then you would obviously take another QB to go along with Dixon and then another player high in the draft.

It's not worth it this season. Bradford is the only QB worth doing it for. I do think his time is limited in Pittsburgh, but they aren't going to ship him off on a whim unless they can get a proven QB in return or there is someone spectacular ready to step in available in the draft. With how hard it is to get a GOOD QB in this league, it won't happen, and it would be a bad move at this point.

That will NEVER happen. The amount a of cash a #1 pick is guaranteed nowadays is insane. No way would the Rooney's pony up the cash for that. Honestly I don't think there is anyone in the draft this year that would truly warrant a #1 pick anyway.
