Looks like the Celtics did finally collapse. So SQ was off a tad.

So I decided to look back at this thread after the fact. The two teams discussed in the thread: The Cavs and Celtics post playoff series.

Celtics:
-NBA Finals appearance
-bringing back everybody for one more crack

Cavaliers:
-fired their GM
-fired their coach
-failed to improve their team before free agency
-Lost Lebron to the Heat
-Gilbert writes an open letter where he whines, calls Lebron a quitter, and becomes a complete joke to everybody who is not a Cavaliers fan

So.. in retrospect. Whose collapse was epic?

I don't know if a professional franchise has ever had the collapse in the nature of the current Cavs collapse.
