haha this thread is funny. I will say though, I don't think many people outside of Boston ever thought that they would make it back to the finals. I was one of them. I have to give them props though. They got healthy and showed they have still got the ability to win it all even if they are near the end of their run.

Maybe so but sq took it to a whole new level and it wasn't the only thread where he predicted the collapse of the Celtics's add that to his "he's more intelligent than anyone on here attitude" and if you disagree with him or argue your point he almost ALWAYS resorts to insults.

A LOT of people made huge assumptions about this team, my thoughts were more a long the lines of wait and see with them--but I sort of expected what's happening to them now. They're still a good team, but they aren't a contender. And let me say it more clearly, they aren't a contender this year when healthy. If you think they can match up with the Cavs or Magic (or hell, even the Hawks) you're stretching for some hope at this point.

Still blows my mind how many people are picking them to win the East, some the title.
Trying to hold onto my sanity on this site full of people with IQ's below 60.

Square deserves to get hammered on this thread......but.....hammer me just as bad. Because I agreed with his assessment before the playoffs 100%. Not too many people can understand how professional athletes making an average of 10 million per year, could deliberately sandbag an entire regular season.

The Celtics might win it all tonight....but they cheated the league and their fans throughout the regular season.
