first two i agree, the next show why Lebron is a better athlete not better skill wiseAutomatik wrote: Court vision, passing ability, power, speed, driving to the hoop, and shot blocking sets LeBron above Kobe right now. I would also take LeBron's leadership over Kobe at this point.
Kobe WAS the best in the game, LeBron has gradually surpassed him. I can't believe some of you LA nutswingers can't see it. Its funny to me.
And don't take my posts as coming from a homer Cavs fan. I really don't have an NBA team, but I watch a lot, my comments are as unbiased as they come.
Would you say Kobe can jump as high as LeBron? He can dunk can he not?2quik4u wrote:

being able to do something wellAutomatik wrote: Define "skill wise"?
I go on who puts a better product out on the court, regardless of uniform colors. Its LeBron....easily.
lol are u really trying to say Kobe can jump as high as Lebron hahahaa, even in kobes best athletic years, he wouldn't come close. Have you ever noticed a lot of times when Kobe is taking a jump shot he has to fake 3 or 4 times it because he can't jump that high and this has been going on since he has been in the league. Kobe is no where near athlete that Lebron or even Jordan is. So he had to develop his skills because he isn't as athletic as other guys.ytownfootball wrote:Would you say Kobe can jump as high as LeBron? He can dunk can he not?2quik4u wrote:

yes.
So the fact that LBJ has perfected the art/skill of tracking down and defending from behind would mean your post fails.
No offense to you personally BAB, but anyone from NY/LA telling others to "know their place" is kinda funny. Both coasts think those of us in 'fly over country' are nothing more that mouth breathing, knuckle dragging morons that should ALWAYS come behind one of their squads, regaardless of circumstance. Having lived a stones throw from where you're at now for 5+ years, I know this to be true.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I enjoy watching the Cavs, and I am NOT a Lakers fan ... That's because the Mets aren't half as good as the Yankees. The Mets can't even make the playoffs, the Yankees just won the World Series.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I enjoy watching the Cavs, and I am NOT a Lakers fan ... ytown, I hope you didn't take offense to my post. I always wonder why some fans (not just Cavs fans) feel compelled to talk smack about teams who are historically stronger. Perfect example: I went to the 2002 NBA finals between in the Nets and Lakers, and these idiot Nets fans were chanting "Lakers Suck." Just a head scratcher, and I am a Nets fan. I always enjoy a witty exchange, but I think it's weak when teams who haven't won titles belitttle superior franchises, that's all. And for the record, if the Cavs play the Lakers in the finals, I would strongly be rooting for the Cavs ...ytownfootball wrote:No offense to you personally BAB, but anyone from NY/LA telling others to "know their place" is kinda funny. The Cavs are BETTER than the Lakers...as evident by their two victories over the Lakers, and the better record.
Being a historically superior team has absolutely nothing to do with this year. I can understand a Knicks fan shouldn't talk shit to a Lakers fan, because the Knicks are pitiful this year. I can even understand if a solid, but not great team is having their first success in a long time, their fans don't need to be running their mouths to Laker fans. The Cavs have been championship contenders for 4 years now. The Cavs are not inferior to the Lakers this year. They may or may not be better, but they are not inferior, so Cavs fans and Laker fans talking shit amongst each other is fine.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: ytown, I hope you didn't take offense to my post. Only reason you're seeing this thread is because a few certain Lakers fans(Re: Trolls) like to stir up shit whenever the Cavs or Lebron lose. Case in point I haven't seen NCF, or JakeGiant in a few weeks at least, then as soon as the Cavs get down big the show up, and as soon as they did they did they cavs came back and took the lead. So since they couldn't use that any more they have to talk about LeBron missing a shot.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I enjoy watching the Cavs, and I am NOT a Lakers fan ... Nicely stated High Roller, I see you point ... f-cking Lakers!!! hahaHighRoller74 wrote:Only reason you're seeing this thread is because a few certain Lakers fans(Re: Trolls) like to stir up shit whenever the Cavs or Lebron lose. Think of it like this.
The Mets have a great year, but so are the Yankees. It's Late September(I know, sore subject) and The Mets are down by like 10 runs to the Cardinals. So some Yankee troll decides to start making comments only to have David Wright hit a Grandslam, followed by a few more runs, and some how are now leading 11-10 in the 9th inning. The Yankee trolls have disappeared, until the Bottom of the 9th, and Wright boots a ball at 3rd allowing a runner to get on, and then he some how scores. Then the Yankee troll returns to make fun of David Wright, completely ignoring his 5-5 Game with 2 HR's and 11 RBI's and only mentioning his 1 error.
Later on in the night, the Yankees are getting Mollywhomped by the Sox, 20-2. A-Rod goes 0-4 4 K's and 1 error, you can't tell me you wouldn't be making fun of the Yankees.
And by that you mean he is going to rape another 18 year old white girl? I'm sure he is looking forward to a playoff match up with the Nuggets, although he is probably disappointed the Lakers have home court advantage. I bet he'd be willing to trade for an extra night in the state.2quik4u wrote:http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/6859/052309kobemeanface.jpg[/img]

What does the past have anything to do with this year????BigAppleBuckeye wrote:Until the Cavs win a title, they have nothing to say.SportsAndLady wrote:That's because the Mets aren't half as good as the Yankees.
