David Bell is a certified moron. 

Mahle at 96 pitches of 1 hit, 6 shutout innings. Doesn’t bring him out for the 7th AND doesn’t pitch his best relievers (Amir Garrett)...bullpen gives up 4 runs

Francona, a good manager with at least 5% of a brain, does the exact opposite. Leaves Bieber out for the 8th despite throwing 98 pitches AND when he gives up a base runner, francona brings in his best reliever. 

It’s not hard to manage a pitching staff, but David bell certainly makes it.

That actually proves my point even further, that someone with (most likely) no managerial experience managed the pitching staff better than Mr IQ David Bell
