If that's the case, I have to believe that the story was leaked to Schefter by someone in the Haslam family which, to me, isn't a positive sign. There is literally hundreds of different answers to your question. I have no clue how it came out, but I also don’t 100% believe everything someone in power says in a news conference.

What "bash session?" If it wasn't Dorsey and it was a Haslam (nobody knows for sure) would you be happy if Haslam was meddling in this search after he said it was Dorsey's to run with? This hire is WAY too important, now that they have their franchise QB. They can't afford to screw this one up and a Haslam giving direction on the hiring process would be THE way they could screw it up.
