I’ve only had 3 cards graded but vintage style I’m considering getting these 4 graded (likely won’t but the 69 Seaver and 62 Kaline could bring a real good vintage number)

Sadly though cards are selling like crazy now but values are down. A bunch of my mid 80’s to mid 90’s rookie cards of HOFers look like potential 10’s but most aren’t worth the risk….and, I’m never selling those.

To the eye my Griffey Jr Upper Deck looked perfect…graded an 8.5 by Beckett about 20-25 years ago….1 point on any of the 4 standards snd it would’ve been a 9. My Jerry Rice rookie a 7.5 so good for that good green/yellow border…and I handled those cards a lot.

Looking to maybe get into sports cards / trading again.

Don't even know where to begin. Any insight or thoughts from you all?

Everything is expensive with the hope of pulling a lowly produced insert or autograph. People paying insane money for players that may never amount to anything….but a great time to get a great deal on the vintage stuff I love

It had been a couple years since my last Larkin purchase so I found a few Topps PSA 10s for the collection.

Sold a few cards i got in breaks lately. I’ve been lucky and ended up ahead because of a few big hits. Sold a Josh Allen 1/1 for about 1k last week. This week I’ve sold a /5 Pete Alonso and Rookie Patty. For about $800 for both.

If we got any yankee fans I got a cool Jeter / Arod dual patch card I’ll sale for like $30. Any Soccer fans I got a Perdi Authographed rookie card as well. Or if any football fans have a favorite team and want autographed mini helmets let me know. I’m moving to Nashville and unloading a bunch.

I saw a tiktok where a guy opened a few cases of Fleer cards from Griffey Jr Rookie Year. He got 18-19 Griffey rookies along with a few other good players from that year. I wish I knew how much a case was and what they will grade from PSA

They are cool but there are a zillion of them. I have 3 I think and didn’t buy that many of those years of Fleer.

The grading to me seems to be getting easier/shadier

I have 3 of those Griffey’s all raw….likely 8.5 or 9’s….4-5 of those Younts but none likely over a 5 or 6. I played with those 1981-1986 cards…lucky my Gwynn and Ripken rookies are in pretty good shape

A few big cards I'd like to add to the collection soon:

1957 Topps Frank Robinson RC (PSA 1ish, or low grade raw)

1989 UD Griffey RC (PSA 7-8)

1948 Leaf Ted Kluszewski

I have the UD Griffey and it’s an 8.5 back when they first started grading cards and Beckett did it. It values basically as a 9

Ok I92, I need some help identifying some fellas from my days working baseball events back in 2012-2013. I have decided I want to collect a graded card (RC if possible) of notable players I've met.

And as I was getting ready to post a few pictures I remembered who they were (Jim Rice, Jack Morris, Vida Blue).

But I cannot place this guy.

I would've remembered Yount, for sure. But you nailed it with Norm Charlton. Thank you.
