Picked these up at a show yesterday. My first vintage Namath (1970 Topps Glossy, $20). Elly was $5. Foster RC was $3. The three Reds vintage were $10 total.
What do you reckon this would grade? A 5 or 6? Surface and back look great. Corners aren’t great, but pretty good for this set.

If I gave you his name you’d have trouble saying no. Just a nice man that takes time with his son and puts these sets together and sells lower than everyone else and the cards are always in tremendous shape

I’m going to do a little math when I get a chance, but this knocks out a lot of rookies I want to add to my collection.

If you have him a list I bet he’d set you up

It’s solid for that 1971 set but the upper right corner and bottom right corner would scare me some on grading. Bottom border bigger than top 70/30ish
Great color but guessing a 3

Dang, I think you’re probably right. Still glad to have it for $3.

I love this….I have two, not graded or likely above a 6-7….but the Fleer rookie is fucking stunning. One of my all-time favorite cards
Yeah, I love that Fleer set. Really want the Davis and Puckett.
justincredible wrote:Yeah, I love that Fleer set. Really want the Davis and Puckett.
Yeah…have one of each
I like the 86 Donruss and Topps
That tops traded set is amazing with Bo Jackson, Barry Bonds and others
