Is Walker from Marysville still wrestling? I haven't seen him a box score in over a month it seems. If he's not in there, the HVY class looks a lot leaner, especially as compared to how stacked the 220 class is. I'm thinking if I am the #5 or #6 220, I might pack on a few for sectionals just to qualify for Disctricts.

WN Guy is Archer - Pinned Gray 4 1/2 Weeks ago Only a 220 LB'r and So. But solid. Gray as a Sr. still has better resume though. Not sure about Walker

Grappler, I heard that Archer gave gray quite a beat down. Gray however, beat both Zaky from LH and Gray from MF, both of whom crushed Archer. I think Archer gets seeding from head to head win.

Thats the Sr. vs So. dynamic I talked about. LH tournament was a month before West tri. Archer wrestles w/ Struttman in practice and has grown up a bit. He was beating Gray (West) 7-2 when he got fall. Was only down to Akutsu 4-2 in third when got turned and stuck late a week ago. Light 285 also. will be interesting sectional for whole North team, very young, and have not done much mat time because of skin issues.

according to the entry grid below, only six 152s heading to Marysville... so, cruiser, how do you do that bracket? eight man with byes on 3 and 7???

I do believe that is correct! Top two seeds shoul get first round matches.

Last year I seem to remember that some of the D1 sectional sites never did make the brackets available......there was a lot of discussion. I hope that is not the case this year!

I do them on Excel, and create a formula that - if the name in the next bracket line does not equal one of the names, it automatically drops the other name. If it DOES match, it drops the other kid's name.

For all: No slights intended. (Especially you parents out there! :D ) I usually white ink those cells. Again, no harm intended.

only updates I have are McDougle over Alexander by fall, and Gray over Archer at HWT. Stockton and Struttman likely in the match to go.

I heard he freaked out after he lost, but that he is in fact still in the tournament and already wrestled his "to go" match. could be wrong though.
