Ya, I really have no idea why you think NL CR Fan and I were in cahoots. If anyone I thought you were talking about SEJ... I guess you are more clueless than even I figured.

Everybody yesterday was just too sensitive which resulted in me being attacked for what at first was just me trying to explain the situation.

Then I got pissed at how complicated and tight everybody was acting over 1.00!

They do it in the playoffs when interest is high. They do it for the $12/year hoping people will pay for the year and they'd get revenue during the slower months. They do it without much notice or tact. The longtime people were thrown under the bus. The "Bleacher Seats" should be called the Nose Bleeds, would be more apt.

It was a bait and switch. Give the people something, then right when you think you've got them hooked, switch it on them and see how many suckers--er, customers, you can get.

I'll hang around their free site. But I seriously doubt, in my lifetime, I'll pay for a message board. Message boards are ubiquitous with the internet. They are inherently free, as in speech and as in beer.

So, I'll hang around here more, or Yappi. Or, god knows where.

If I was here to spy, I wouldn't take info back to anybody, i'd act upon it myself.

Nothing you say here will get you in trouble over there from what i've seen.

When I was moderating yesterday, I was told to let everyone vent so that's what i've been doing.

I've been having trouble even navigating that site for the past week.

It has been loading one time out of every three or four times I attempt.

You know, that's the #1 thing that pisses me off about that site. YOU were told to let everyone vent, but still someone or ones there seem to be very proactive in deleting things like polls that show people don't agree with the pay-to-post idea, threads have been merged into one big and disorganized one and yesterday, two of those big amalgams were deleted. And the only explanation for that was from the Pleasant mod that isn't MPD, who gave some line about how they were blowing up and hard to control or something like that.

YOU guys might be being told to let people vent, but THEY sure as hell seem determined to put as tight a leash on that venting as possible.

I also like how Ches's name on here is "cheapskate" as in he's taking a dig at us for being "cheap", yet his simple mind doesn't actually grasp the REAL issue. That issue is the fact that JJ Huddle is dishonoring LONG time members by basically waiving their fee that they payed when they first joined. Another thing he doesn't fully realize is that $1 may turn into $2 which may turn into $3 and so on...

They have completely ruined the site and are trying to make it into something it's not. Their fault, not mine. I have the right to boycott the product if I feel it's necessary, which is what I'm doing. A lot of great people have come to this site, which is making the transition so much easier.

Peake, you're basically showing your true colors. We all know you're obsessed with JJ Huddle and probably can't live without it. You were banned, came back under a different username, and cried like hell to get your former username back... Then you probably did some more crying to get your mod status back so your life was complete again. Pathetic.

It was nothing to do with people being cheap.

It's just Chesapeake scrambled up plus a t and missing an e.

I think he should stay. It's like this; The people loyal to jjhuddle will pay and stay there no matter what is said or done on this site. And the people who like this site will stay regardless of what goes on over there.
Besides, there's over two hundred peeps (I hate that word) here now. Who's to say one of those ain't reconning?

Now that the damage is done let them all stay! I only wanted him banned till Thurs/Fri while we caused trouble over there! We don't want to be like the forum nazi's over there.
