Well before the BCS did away with that problem, there were split National champions all the time, so maybe to you they don't mean squat, but the AP poll was and is still recognized as the top media poll in the country. Those rankings you and I and every other fan goes by to start the season and end the season? AP poll.

And secondly, Nebraska and Tommie Frazier were far from one-dimensional. Tommie Frazier finished with over 4,000 yards passing in his career with 47 TD's and 18 INT's. His senior year, the year he won the heisman, he completed nearly 60% of his passes for 1,500 hards and 17 TD's (4 int). And again, with Ahman Green and Lawrence Phillips in the backfield, why would they NEED to throw all that much?

And Florida State? that doesn't even deserve a response..They had Charlie Ward when they won their first NC in 1993, who threw for over 3,000 yards that year, and Warrick Dunn was their RB, who STILL holds the all-time rushing mark at FSU...so I have no idea where you're going with that. Again, you DONT WIN CONFERENCES, BCS BOWL GAMES AND NAT'l TITLES BEING ONE DIMENSIONAL. Ask Cincy.

Consider Pryor's 2009 season a sophomore slump. He threw for 16 touchdowns but also hurled 10 interceptions while seeing his passer rating fall nearly 20 points as well from 2008.

There were four games this year in which Pryor failed to even throw for 100 yards. We could chalk this up to his Vick-like style of being able to run and pass, but in a conservative offense like Jim Tressel likes to run, Pryor must amp up his throwing ability.

Pryor's issue never was that he couldn't throw. It was his inconsistency, footwork, and decision making. He isn't regressing, which is all I ask for.

Who I watch has nothing to do with it. I saw his videos from HS and all he did was run or throw deep and his deep passes went practically straight up and came straight down, easily picked or knocked down by a good DB.
