right now, I think Pryor's name has every right to be mentioned in the same sentence as "Heisman hopefuls"..why not?
Sweet! Then that means I as well am a heisman hopeful...because I have just as much of a chance as him.

Well if we are going to LOL about Mallet, then we would certainly do the same about Pryor.
I do however think Pryor is on the preseason short list, although his name was being thrown around last year as well.
The difference being...Pryor stepped up in a big time game...Mallett couldn't complete 50% of his passes in big games. Do it when it counts...not when anyone behind center could win.
How did Pryor "step up" his passing in a big game? He threw bubble screens, flare passes, and underneath routes. He is an awful downfield passer. OSU is in denial that with Pryor at the helm they are nothing but a Wildcat offense...a running back who occasionally throws.

People are still saying Pryor can't throw? Do you even WATCH THE GAMES?!
Pryor's issue never was that he couldn't throw. It was his inconsistency, footwork, and decision making. He isn't regressing, which is all I ask for.
See above response. He throws 5 yard passes. Bubble screens, flares, and underneath routes dont make you a passer. I could make those passes all day in my cuurent state of out-of-shapeness.
