Defense really let Bieber down, but able to minimize it and offense did enough in 1 inning. It seemed like they were turning a corner in the 3rd, then started swinging at Keuchels junk again.

José has to be the most unlucky batter in baseball this year. 4 times with solid to exceptional contact. 2/4. Line out to SS was a double and the ball in the first was just crushed — both outs. Lol

McKenzie listed as today's probable starter.

Hopefully some of our starting pitchers mature or this could be a long summer. I'm optimistic that we will get enough out of them to be an average team. 

Today is a big game. 4-2 in division on this trip including keeping the twins down and picking up a game on Sox, on road.

Other than Plesac's errant pick-off attempt, that was a good game all around!

I’m with Hammy. That’s on Bauers. No one ever made the signal to play back, and you would always hold the runner in that situation. Unless Plesac COMPLETELY fucked up, he is clearly assuming someone should be there, because he never checked first to notice Bauers wasn’t holding Eaton — meaning probably a designed play. 

Anyway, very solid game. Timely hitting and great pitching. On the pitching note, Karinchak is probably the best reliever in baseball right now.
