There it is. That's the bonus answer. Strung together ten consecutive multi-hit games in 1911 before stringing eleven of them together in 1912. Only guy with two such streaks of ten or more games.
Let the damn man in the Hall.

Ah, got another. Waner is one of the guys tied for third.
Fun tidbit: During his 11-game multi-hit streak, he never struck out. He's the only one on this list who didn't strike out even once during his multi-hit game streak.
1. Rogers Hornsby - 13 games
2. ??? - 12 games
3T. Paul Waner - 11 games
3T. ??? - 11 games
3T. ??? - 11 games
The guy in the #2 spot is someone I think gets overlooked because of the era. The '30s had some serious batting legends with Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Greenberg, Ott, Trosky, and others.

None of those mentioned since the last one.
1. Rogers Hornsby - 13 games
2. ??? - 12 games (1930s)
3T. Paul Waner - 11 games
3T. ??? - 11 games (1970s)
3T. ??? - 11 games (1920s)
I know the two others tied for 3rd have been answers elsewhere in this thread. This *might* be the first mention of the guy in 2nd.

This came in before I posted the previous comment. Got another. Sam Rice only struck out once during his streak. Other than Waner, he's the only one to strike out fewer than three times during his streak on this list.
1. Rogers Hornsby - 13 games (1920s)
2. ??? - 12 games (1930s)

#2 finished in the top-5 in MVP voting the year he did it. Also led the league in hits and doubles, but he was never a HR hitter, which is why I think he gets so overlooked in an era full of sluggers.
The other one that is tied for #3 on the list led his team in HRs and was one of only two players who batted over .300 for his team. Didn't lead the league in anything, though. They went to the playoffs but lost the CS that year.

There he is! Perez had eleven straight multi-hit games from Aug. 8, 1973 to Aug. 20, 1973.
One more hint. Here are the actual years they did it, including the missing one.
1. Rogers Hornsby - 13 games (1923)
2. ??? - 12 games (1935)
3T. Paul Waner - 11 games (1927)
3T. Sam Rice - 11 games (1925)

Bingo.
A lifetime .304 hitter with almost 500 career doubles, but with fewer than 50 HRs over his career, strung together 12 consecutive games with at least two hits.
