Finally trying Hilton Head. It's always been picked always something else chosen before we go. I booked the house this time though so we're doing it.

Just booked a trip to Boston preceding July 4th festivities. Have tickets for the July 1 Reds @ Red Sox game.  Will be in Boston 4-5 days. Recs?

Do that hop on/hop off bus tour. Those are always good on the first day to get your bearings and to point out some cool sites you might otherwise have not have known about.

Beacon Hill is a cool area to walk around. Boston Commons is like the Central Park of Boston and has a lot of activity.  Harvard Square is also a cool area. As said before, Little Italy/North End is great.

I predict you’ll love it.  It is a beautiful place with no tackiness.

Going to Myrtle Beach end of May. Never been. Also debating going to Florida in June. I have been to Florida but it was a while ago.

Florida in June is a sweaty proposition. But it won’t be as crowded.

Myrtle Beach has an Ohio State Fair vibe.

HHI is a good time. Pool Bar Jims has great frozen cocktails right off of the beach. Skull creek or Hudson’s are a good dinner spot not down in the crowded part of Coligny.

Aiming for Europe for a month around June-July. Spain, Portugal and maybe add another city like Amsterdam or London. All depends on the in/out flights.

Euro trip was ruined due to work travel. They just to spring up multiple summer offsite meetings with minimal notice. Only had a one way refundable flight booked, so I luckily didn't lose out on anything.

In between apartment leases so I'm fucking off to Mexico on Sunday for 2 months, they don't mind if I travel from there.

Now thinking Amsterdam late summer or may push to October for ADE. I've been wanting to go to that for years. NYC sometime in the summer is also in play. Probably LDW.

I'm surprised Myrtle is still a destination, other than for golf. I went about 8 years ago after around 12 trips as a kid. It was pretty grim.

Amsterdam is my favorite city in Europe (of the ones I've visited). It's small, walkable, beautiful, cultural, cool and has a laid back feel. It's a perfect place to go in the fall.

Carmel Indiana Marathon got rained out so we will be in Louisville now this weekend for a marathon. Following week Nashville to try and find a home to buy.

Then mid June we are doing a week at an AI in Cancun. Should be moved by then so will need the vacation.
