In all his ranting and raving, it became obvious how deeply she got under his skin.  That made me imagine this guy in a room with a sophisticated adversary…the strategy for taking him down couldn’t be more obvious.  He cannot keep his cool; his coherence diminishes quickly when he’s flustered; his thoughts become disjointed and he loses the plot.  You can see how Putin had him eating from his hand after their summit.

Interestingly I heard that exact same story - almost to a "T" of Reagan's representative doing the same thing to Mommar Ghaddafi.  Exact same lines about the translators disbelief, "We'll kill you" and the satellite photo of his house.  This was told to me circa 1996.

No chance this is recycled folklore is there?

The debate was a huge loss for Trump.  Best move forward and not try and defend such a poor performance.

Looks like there's a big catfight between two to Trump's acolytes: Marjorie Greene and someone called Laura Loomer (who travels with Trump).  Watching these two fight like scorned lovers is some kind of insight into the inner MAGA circle.

It's interesting. Trump has used Reaganisms a handful of times since he entered the political sphere. In fact, during the debate he said a couple of times "there you go again" which is a classic Reagan quote.

I'm not sure if Trump's adoption of a lot of Reagans stances, policies or quotes is out of admiration or if he's been schooled to do so. I'm leaning towards admiration simply because at the time Reagan was seen as a great uniter, even in NY.

Also Trump referenced Reagan during the debate when speaking about abortion.

Things I never thought I'd see. At a 911 unity event, Biden put on a trump hat!

It actually got me to support Greene, which isn't something that happens. Mainly because Loomer is about as shitty of a person as there is on the political spectrum and started their whole spat by taking things full racist as far as the presidential race goes with some sort of word salad about how, if Harris wins, the White House will smell like curry and a couple other Indian stereotypes. Lol, if people like her have Donny's ear, he is cooked.

Providing context about a point that was made.  Obviously Harris would be incapable of such a move.

Without question Trump missed multiple opportunities; he could have effectively ended the race, now who knows.

I missed that. Was it when he said something about abortions after birth?😎

What about it is a tale?

There was very popular story in the late 1980s and 1990s about Ronald Reagan sending - through his emissary - a picture to Ghadaffi of Ghadaffi's house with the message "If you are responsible for harming another American, we know where you live will destroy you."

I think Trump has heard this story and likes the badassery of it and wants people to think this is how he rolls.

That’s a good story. I’m here for that.

Funny thing is, we ended up doing this - I think it was Clinton that sent a cruise missile through Ghadaffi's front door [literally]!  He was very quiet after that.

It is, but it's not a Ronald Reagan quote.

So you don't believe what the 2 congressman said, nor that no Americans were harmed by them during the following 18 months.  ?

Let's just say Trump had a history of telling tall tales....so forgive me if I don't believe his story one bit.

If you were to tell me in 2007 that VP Dick Cheney and Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, who authored the torture memos for the W. Bush administration during the early days of the War on Terror, would be supporting the Democratic Presidential nominee, I would not have believed you.

This one shocked me lol.
