I wonder why there are so many pitching injuries in the modern game. A generation ago when teams switched to 5-man rotations, we were told that it would cut down on injuries and extend careers. They couldn't have been more wrong.

I want Karinchak to be so good. But he just isn’t. Not without the sticky stuff. Ugh.

Quantrill with 7 strong innings but Tribe trails 5-2 in the 10th.

Because Wittgren. 

Quantril another great start. Zimmer another great day at the plate. Great to see Bradley back in the lineup.

Goddamnit, I’m already talking myself into competing next year lol.

Sunday afternoon rain delay

I see that Karinchak was sent to Columbus yesterday. 

It’s now more than a two hour rain delay. 

We came back and won today!

I wonder how many just said “fuck it” and went home. 

One day in Columbus and Karinchak has already gotten into a huge argument with a baseball.

Tribe has had 5 players with 5/5 nights, 2 HRs and 5+ RBI.  AMAZINGLY they have all been in the last two iterations of the team. Victor, Lonnie, Jose, Rosario and I forget the 5th... but within the last 15ish years

Frustrating that both Quantrill and McKenzie were pretty much lights out for the month of August in their combined 10 starts and the Tribe could only muster 4 wins out of those 10 games.
