Anyone ever use a teledoc service?

I have a rash near my ankle that won't go away so I've been trying to get in to a dermatologist for a while. Yeah, good luck. I logged into my United Healthcare account and saw teledoc visits were free through early June due to covid-19 so I figured what the hell. Signed up for a video call, waited about 10 minutes, talked with a doctor for about a minute, including awkwardly putting my foot up on my desk to show him my ankle, and had a prescription ready to pick up the next morning.

It was a pretty great experience overall, definitely something I would do in the future if needed.

We did one through United Healthcare as well, for our 7 month old, and it was great. Prescription was ready to be picked up in a couple of hours. On my wife's insurance through UHC it is also cheaper than an in office visit.

The best part was start to finish I was done in 20 minutes. From deciding to sign up for the appointment, to being done with it, all from the comfort of my own home. If I had to go to a physical location I'd be looking at a couple hours at least, I would imagine.

My son just had a dermatology one on Friday. It went well. My wife and I both had one about 2 weeks ago.

My school insurance has had the teledoctor for about 2 years and they love it.....I’ve not used it until this Covid thing as my step mom is a nurse practitioner

I do it every time medical treatment is needed pretty much. Usually 20$ under my ins

TelHeath will be a future way of medical visits. Wife works in the mental health business COVID-19 has created Telheath and business is booming...

The world will be a changing because of COVID-19
