My wife has a developmentally disabled cousin (48) that lives in the Dayton area. We were going to take him to somewhere in Kentucky where some family members live, but their health will not allow it. As an alternative, we're thinking about taking him to Cincinnati, crossing the river and doing something there to fulfill our promise to take him to Kentucky. He's had the opportunity to go to the aquarium, but declined. Any ideas?

When are you planning on making the trip?

Does he like baseball? The Florence independent baseball team starts playing in May.

Probably your cousin or some other close relative.

How about the Florence Mall?  Looks like it's not dead yet, and he might like just walking around to see the sights.

Does he like various crafts?  Take him to DIY pottery in the mall to make a souvenir he can take home..  Then hit the food court or dessert kiosk for a treat.  That might make for a well-rounded day for him.
