There's some yard sticks in life that some people overlook and one of those are appliances.

What has been the amount of some of the appliances that you've purchased in your life.

The Belly family has gone through

3 dishwashers

3 refrigerators

3 stoves

4 microwaves

3 disposals

5 toasters

4 mr. coffees

2 Keurigs coffee makers

5 vacuum cleaners

how on earth can you remember all these, and why on earth did you quote your own post to add a couple more items on instead of just editing and adding to your OP?

Happy to say I haven't had to buy the majority of the items on that list. Renter for life!

We've been homeowners for just over 10 years and have bought the following, most when we bought all new appliances for our kitchen in our first house.

1 fridge (our current one we inherited in our new house is not great, so that will be updated soon)

2 stoves (we replaced the stove in our new house within weeks of moving in, we need a full cast iron grated top for our cooking style)

1 dishwasher

1 microwave

2 dryers (the dryer we inherited at our first place died, but the washer lasted the 9 years we lived there. our new house didn't come with the pair so we bought new)

1 washing machine
