Anyone else watch this?

The case of Michelle Carter telling her boyfriend to kill himself. I would have found her not guilty. I feel like she was just as sick as her boyfriend.

Guilty? Not guilty?

I watched it. Eh. I lean towards not guilty. I think ultimately you're responsible for your own actions. It sucks because they were obviously messed up and probably could have been happier and healthier with each other, but it didn't work out. I can see where a 15 month sentence is a little too lenient but her life is basically over. She'll forever be the girl who badgered her depressed boyfriend into killing himself.

The parents here are some real losers as well. His parents were abusive, and hers seemed absolutely clueless about anything. The documentary barely acknowledged them and certainly didn't do them any favors. Where were they when all this was going on?

Anti-depressant medications scare me. A lot of side effects and can really mess with you.

I feel like the only evidence she was convicted on was her own text saying she told him to get back in the car. The prosecution built a case around the fact that she was a liar. She had many multiple other made up texts that were definitely not true, but they cherry pick this text and say well she was definitely telling the truth here

she's got problems. she's definitely a sociopath, but, she was young when this happened, so i'm giving her some leeway and hoping she'll mature out of some of this. I just honestly don't think she committed a crime here.

Worst thing I could cite her for or convict her for is inciting violence, but not anything worse than that. Telling someone to kill themselves is not the same as murder/manslaughter, at the end of the day they make their own choices.
