posted by justincredibleI believe it was the 9th. I know it wasn't the 11th as That's my wedding anniversary. Don't need the memory of 'Free Huddle' ruining that day. Other than that Happy Thanksgiving OC'ers !!!Oh yeah, it was the 9th or the 11th, I think
posted by BR1986FBSo, I'm listening to Ross Tucker on the local sports talk call in, coming back from picking up some Popeye's, and the host asks Tucker his ideal Thanksgiving plate. Tucker, who is from middle PA, says "as much dark meat turkey as I can get on the plate and potato 'filling' covered with gravy."
Is anyone familiar with this potato filling? I have stuffing & mashed potatoes separately with gravy but apparently this potato filling is mashed potatoes mixed with stuffing (intentionally) and made into a dish. Never heard of this.
Never heard of it.
I want my stuffing and potatoes separate though
Seems like Tucker could have simplified it by saying he just likes to mix everything together.

OK. Happy Thanksgiving, mofo!
And to all the rest of you remaining Ohio Chatterers, too!

No, this is apparently a dish that's mixed all together and baked or something.
Agree with Ironman. I want those two items separate.
We always use some left over turkey, noodles and stuffing to make a casserole a day or two after Thanksgiving. Don't put mashed potatoes over it, but it's doable, I guess. A shepherds pie variant.
