I disagree about the online(xbox is much better), but with God of War 3 out now, the exclusives are pretty equal.
PS3 is far and away the better deal because of blu ray.

the ps3 exclusive games like GOW3 and Heavy Rain have set the PS3 over top of the Xbox in my opinion

how can anyone say that paying 8 dollars a month compared to free is better? Didn't you all leave the other place because they wanted you to pay 12 a year!? but yet when Microsoft charges 60 its cool? I own both and trust me when MAG runs lag free with 256 players but yet a game of Halo lags every other minute. Compare the games and the quality of the items. Then compare the over all prices and the PS3 is by far the better system.
Also myself and many others have said that no matter what happens next I will never waste my money on another Xbox system because of how much Microsoft has screwed over its customers with the failings of the 360.

And are we supposed to hate everyone that charges money for something just because we don't like the JJ (re)started charging? Your analogy would have worked if Xbox Live had started out as a free service, but it didn't.
Different people like different things. Stating conclusively that the PS3 or 360 is better because of X is stupid because you might like Y or Z. For instance, I don't have a HD television other than the PC monitor in my room that my 360 is hooked up to so the advantage the PS3 has by including Blu-Ray doesn't really matter to me.

Yeah, but I couldn't even really use that either. All I've got is a tv with the old antenna hookups.

Live is $30 a year if you are intelligent enough to find a deal, and I only buy online games for the 360, because it is superior to PSN, for sure, IMO.
I buy exclusives on the PS3, and use it a ton for TV streaming and Blu Rays...
