Minor set back at the QB position no doubt. As far as the defense goes pound for pound-(pun intended) will have the most experience. And what we will lack in size we will make up in speed and determination (heart). ATTENTION ALL HUSKY OPPONENTS!!! YOU WILL LOOK BETTER ON PAPER-ITS ONLY PAPER. 29 hours and it begins boys!!!!

About the SMV-MOG rumor, we've waited long enough RINGZ.......Do Tell, I'm dying to hear it.

.

It ended up being nothing that is why I was looking for collaboration before posting anything here. I don't like to perpetuate rumors.

Hope you can too. But a 2-8 season is in your immediate future. The cupboard is bare.

Chippewa vs Sandy Valley 3 scores apiece. Sandy Valley looked good with some nice size on the line. Chipps new QB looked really good at times. It's still hard to tell since real hitting just started a few days ago. Things should look better by the Loudonville Jamboree next week. It is nice to see 50+ kids on the sideline though.

Smithville vs. Loudonville was fairly even until the the goal line portion when Lodonville scored 5 times. Two 10 play series and 7 on 7 portion finished 2-2.

Smithville ground game looked strong as did the run defense. Pass defense looked horrible. Neither team showed much which is what you expect out of a 1st scrimmage.. Should show a little more Friday against Crestview. Bates dislocated his elbow early on, hopefully he'll be full go by week 1.

Bates was the QB in the Triway / Smithville 7 on 7. It looks as if he'll split time at QB with Roseler (returning starter) this season.
