I don't know, how much did you hear about the opening, search, and selection of Chippewa's football position?

good point - that must be a result of the chippewa admin not telling anyone anything. Most coach searches, especially fball and boys hoops get a lot of press.

I watched Smithville last night at a 7 on 7 against Triway. They have a nice QB who throws a good ball. A handful of talented and surprisingly fast receivers and some LB's who have a nose for the ball. I think they could make some noise in the WCAL this fall.

Of course the is just my opinion as a casual fan.

Northwestern has one tonight at home vs Norton. Two more later on in the week-at Madison and Akron U.

I loved going to the Akron 7-on-7. I caught a touchdown in the Rubber Bowl! Too bad it didn't translate into on-the-field success. Haha!

The Akron 7 on 7 is a very organized, well run show along with being a heck of a recruiting tool for the U of A-with the new Infocision stadium and such.

Rittman did in fact make the change to white helmets and will be sporting brand new jerseys this upcoming season. And IMO Bauman is the best quarterback in the league and will be helped by the best receiver in Turbeville. Dotterer will also be back at full strength which only makes the Indians that much more dangerous. I see them starting off the season 4-0 maybe even 5-0 ;)

I don't care how good those 3 supposedly are, it will not matter if they don't have anyone able to block for them

They return some big guys up front with the left tackle being 6'7 260+....... a lot of varsity experience for the front line so I don't see it becoming a problem as long as they stay healthy

I can't wait to see these! And don't start counting wins just yet.

Rittman will win some games this year but I don't see them a). Winning the WCAL or b). Starting the season 4-0 or 5-0.

Well playing Connotton Valley (terrible), Sandy Valley (not good), and Brookside (also pretty bad from what I hear), the Indians start off the season 3-0 easily. Then add in the game against Waynedale (down this year) and they are 4-0......I'm not calling a league title or anything close to that.....all I'm saying is look out for the Indians
