Butler does it again for WVU.

Thought Wright definitely got fouled going to the rim for Georgetown, but I guess not.

WVU has now made its case for the last #1 seed.

Edit: After seeing it again, Wright barely got bumped...good no call. He has to feel awful, especially after giving WVU a couple FTs by fouling for no reason.

West Virginia wins the Big East tournament. They KILLED Georgetown on the boards. Does this spell doom for Ohio State chances at a #1 seed?

And people say the conference tournaments don't mean anything to teams that are already in the Dance....

Huggy Bear is probably in tears right now, love his emotion

Country Roads is pretty much the state song.

That's why Huggins is loved in this state. Everything he does is for West Virginia. He is truly a West Virginian first and foremost, and everything he does is for the state.

WVU was able to battle Georgetown and the refs to win the game. An amazing win, and Butler should have his number retired tomorrow.

Helluva game. THAT is what Big East basketball is all about. G'town with a very nice run in the tourney but the Da'sean Butler show was just too much.

eersandbeers-Geez, your team wins and you STILL bitch about the officiating. The 2nd half officiating left a lot to be desired BOTH ways. You sure seem to complain about the officials a lot like they're always out to get WVU. Come on.

Pointing out the truth is hardly complaining. I"ve never once said WVU lost because of the refs.

And it left a lot to be desired one way for the most part. Including on the last shot by Butler.

Truth? LOL. You're entitled to your opinion but that always seems to be that the refs are out to get WVU. You said that after they lost to ND in the regular season, you made remarks about the calls in the WVU-OSU game and now today.

I used facts, which you could not dispute, to show that the ND shot a ridiculous amount of free throws compared to the number shot by WVU.

I also said the refs in the OSU/WVU game were awful both ways. I never once stated they were pro or anti anyone.

So it would appear that you are either making things up to justify your original post, or simply having memory loss.

And both of those, in addition to tonight, qualify as you bitching about officiating....which is my whole point. Sorry the details were a little off. My point still stands.

i'm w/ ewok on this one..eers' bitching is substantially irritating, and what's worse is that he doesn't even know it; actually whats probably worse is that he thinks its "truth" because he thinks so, and uses "facts" to back his point up, when everyone knows stats don't tell the whole story.

You said complain "a lot." As far as I know, three times does not constitute "a lot." Now if you want to amend your original point to say I complained three times about officiating then you would be correct.

So yes, I bitched about officiating three times which I'm fine with.

Yeah I'm sorry I use facts and stats in my arguments rather than unsubstantiated opinions. Crazy me.
