Ok, after seeing that Footjoy is now making licensed team merchandised shoes, I'm thinking an OSU pair, or better yet, a Yankee pair to go along with the bag and headcovers is more up my alley....

My Monday night scratch league partner has a pair of FJ's that are sharp looking and he swears by how comfortable they are.

I know, but I don't see the justification of spending $150 on a pair that will last 3 years and spending $75 on a pair that will last 3 years.

I don't care if someone's pair that cost $150 lasted 5 years, I walk 18 everyday in the summer, my shoes WILL get beat up more than probably anyone elses on here, so no matter how much I spend they're not gonna last more than 3 years.

I dunno... I walk a minimum of 72 holes a week and my Tour 360's are holding up very well.

I would hope so, but the point I'm making is that so do my $75 Nike "I don't even know what they're called" that I got because they were on sale at my country club.

I'd rather save my money and upgrade a club than my shoes.

eh you're young enough that you don't have to worry about good shoes yet. Wait 10 years.

Those are nice. FJ does a good job of mixing dress with comfort.

I remember my Dad bought me a pair of Johnston and Murphy golf shoes. I think I was maybe 15 at the time...they still had metal spikes, and they had a saddle leather side panel. Man those things were so uncomfortable.

These are the ones I got last year.. pretty comfortable to walk in. I have a pair of footjoys I bought 3 years ago that I will probably keep till they fall apart.

That sounds about right haha. Don't get me wrong, I definitely think the more expensive shoes look a LOT better, especially when wearing pants instead of shorts, but yeah I think I'm a few years away from dropping that much dough on a pair.
