Wow, very interesting news. I don't know jack about copyright law, but my general sense is that JJHuddle would have an uphill battle. That said, fighting it would require you to hire an attorney, and it's easy to run up tens of thousands of dollars of legal bills, even if you're in the right. I generally agree with what the atty you spoke with suggested--even if you're right, it can make sense to change the name and avoid fighting the battle.

If you'd like, I could check around and see if any attys here or elsewhere might be willing to take this on pro bono. Even if it's for free, though, it can be a huge hassle because of depositions and crap that messes with the rest of your life. It's shady for them to do this, but at some point, it's probably not worth it to fight over a free site that doesn't generate a ton of revenue.

Only thing I have to say about domain names is keep it simple...
thisforiumisseriousbusiness is a BITCH to type out... and not easy to remember or tell someone. So word of mouth expansion would be limited.
even tfisb would be too hard to tell someone easily.
Simple is better.
